The seeds are then dehusked, a process that involves mechanically removing the outer layer through roasting, splitting, or polishing. This separation yields three components: the husk, the germ, and the valuable endosperm. The endosperm is split into two halves, known as guar splits, which are pale white to yellowish in color.
